The return! Atticus and Will are back to discuss "D-Girl" at last. It's a damn doozy for sure and the boys treat it with the care and respect it deserves. Jon Favreau guest stars.
Justin (@justinkcomer) joins us to talk about Season 3 Episode 2. Tony does some advanced racism, Olivia has a memorable, $250,000 sendoff, Janice returns, and Will had a helluva day. Does the Iowa podcast community welcome Iowa expatriates and which of Tony's crew would wear a mask? Check out Justin's podcasts at rockhardcauc.us and ihearic.com
Content warning: This episode contains discussion of a scene from the show depicting physical and sexual assault. We talk about it throughout the episode, so there's not really a good timecode to jump to -- we get it if you need to skip this one. Will and Atticus attempt to process the dark events of this week's episode. Dr. Melfi is brutally attacked, Janice continues to be trouble for Tony, Tony has a very sweet scene with Christopher, and Johnny Sack moves to Jersey. Also very relatedly, an exhaustive list of the types of articles that are written today is discussed.
Funhouse? Fun episode! Atticus and Will are starting to think this Sopranos show might be pretty good. Tony does big farts and gets depression in his stomach and Will pitches his idea to produce a realistic sound library of farts and poops to replace the somewhat lacking stock sound used for the episode.
