Season 3 Episode 4 "Employee of the Month"

Content warning: This episode contains discussion of a scene from the show depicting physical and sexual assault. We talk about it throughout the episode, so there's not really a good timecode to jump to -- we get it if you need to skip this one. Will and Atticus attempt to process the dark events of this week's episode. Dr. Melfi is brutally attacked, Janice continues to be trouble for Tony, Tony has a very sweet scene with Christopher, and Johnny Sack moves to Jersey. Also very relatedly, an exhaustive list of the types of articles that are written today is discussed.

"Fortunate Son" Season 3 Episode 3

It's a Christopher episode and for that, Lord, we are thankful. Christopher's big day isn't all it was cracked up to be, Jackie peepees his little pants, Will doesn't moan, and Atticus is concerned anti-war songs are corny.

"Proshai, Livushka" Season 3 Episode 2 (with Justin Comer)

Justin (@justinkcomer) joins us to talk about Season 3 Episode 2. Tony does some advanced racism, Olivia has a memorable, $250,000 sendoff, Janice returns, and Will had a helluva day. Does the Iowa podcast community welcome Iowa expatriates and which of Tony's crew would wear a mask? Check out Justin's podcasts at rockhardcauc.us and ihearic.com

"Mr. Ruggerio's Neighborhood" Season 3 Episode 1

It is just great to be back. Paulie kills it out of nowhere with an extended shoelace rant, Baby Bing arrives impeccably dressed, Will calls out Atticus for doing tropes, and they discuss which of Tony's crew would be wearing masks in 2020. Now cut the morbid shit.

"Funhouse" Season 2 Episode 13

Funhouse? Fun episode! Atticus and Will are starting to think this Sopranos show might be pretty good. Tony does big farts and gets depression in his stomach and Will pitches his idea to produce a realistic sound library of farts and poops to replace the somewhat lacking stock sound used for the episode.

"The Knight in White Satin Armor" Season 2 Episode 12

Down the inside, it's Verstappen, back on the throttle holding 3rd, these hard tyres are not holding the grip like he's expecting - what? Oh, Sopranos ? Bit of miscommunication here... Hmm, well I guess it's another episode of The Sopranos: Live with Atticus and Will  and it's pretty much what you've been expecting.

"House Arrest" Season 2 Episode 11

It's a messy episode. A messy eppy. Hope you enjoy.

"Bust Out" Season 2 Episode 10

Bust out baby, the pod is back. David Chase serves up one of the horniest episodes in a long time with friend of the show, Vic soaking up the spotlight and what did Atticus and Will think of Watchmen?

"From Where to Eternity" Season 2 Episode 9

The boys are back and they're here to ping-pong between their hatred of tech journalism and critical art theory. Atticus dives into the deep end with Italian vs Irish racism while Will explains how he approaches appraising and understanding art. Big Pussy Vibes Only Please. Also something might have happened in The Sopranos episode...

"Full Leather Jacket" Season 2 Episode 8

Finally, the episode Will has been dying to get to for weeks! Carmela is very good, Furio is very good, and Tony is very good. Atticus wants to try ricotta pie and Will wants Adriana to find a new king. How could this happen?!

"D-Girl" Season 2 Episode 7

The return! Atticus and Will are back to discuss "D-Girl" at last. It's a damn doozy for sure and the boys treat it with the care and respect it deserves. Jon Favreau guest stars.

"The Happy Wanderer" Season 2 Episode 6

The boys are finally back and it's to record one of truly one of the worst episodes of any podcast ever. Tony proves himself king alpha dumb guy once again although it's Silvio's episode. Will sympathizes with Tony's desire to be a normie and Atticus does interesting and thoughtful social commentary. So why don't you join us?

"Big Girls Don't Cry" Season 2 Episode 5

This week Atticus and Will tackle Season 2 Episode 5. Will gets riled up thinking about spaghetti and endorses some very violent behavior, Atticus brings weird host energy, and Christopher proves definitively that he has no issues with his father.

"Commendatori" Season 2 Episode 4

It’s your regularly scheduled Sopranos: Live: with Atticus and Will for Season 2 Episode 4: Commendatori!  Not for the first time, Atticus and Will have more than enough Sopranos goodness to discuss from Paulie’s absolutely stunning performance, the whole gang in Italy,  the introduction of one of Atticus’s favorite characters, and a very awkward encounter at a party supply store. But instead of all that, our boys are back to their old tricks by discussing their Windows machines. Would it surprise you if they hated them?

"Toodle-Fucking-Oo" Season 2 Episode 3

It's a good episode, folks. Atticus and Will agree it's a good but spend the majority of the episode talking about the Democratic primary debates. So, pretty par for the course focus-wise. Will reads some listener mail, the boys discuss "hobo" and "backtalk", and more.

"Do Not Resuscitate" Season 2 Episode 2

Nope, your calendar must be malfunctioning because it's been the normal time between episodes. This week Atticus and Will are talking the second episode of season two. Topics discussed and settled: Will disagrees with the direction the writers have taken Meadow and AJ, Bobby is one of Atticus's favorite characters, the boys reminisce about one of the basements of their collective past, Atticus flexes on Uncle Junior and what makes you a Ben Carson-esque multi-hyphenate?

"Guy Walks into a Psychiatrist's Office..." Season 2 Episode 1

To kick off the second season of The Sopranos: Live  the boys meet up in beautiful Iowa City, Iowa for a special live episode joined by friends of the show Ian and Noah. They're here to share mics and share Sopranos expertise. Tony's sister is in town, Pussy is dummy thic, someone just destroyed Livia's toilet, and Adriana needs a new man. Now what's the damn underwears that babies wear?

"I Dream of Jeannie Cusamano" Season 1 Episode 13

The boys return for the season one finale. Will and Atticus trade bad takes on auteurs and discuss the moral quandary:  should Quentin Tarantino put his actors in danger? and Tarantino requests Margot Robbie shows feet, dear. After a satisfying death, a heartwarming speech from Tony, and some unprofessional behavior from Melfi, the official Sopranos podcast offers its thoughts on the first season. Look out next week for a potential live episode to kick off season two.

"Isabella" Season 1 Episode 12

It's unclear why this image appears when you Google search "Isabella" but it's obvious that it's an important artifact. Atticus and Will address the penultimate episode of season 1, Isabella. Tony imagines a neighbor, Melfi acts unprofessionally, and Will grows tired of Uncle Junior. The boys also discuss how well Atticus carries his name.
